For flat work we use a torch on modified bitumen and roof cement at every seam. Snow guards are rare in Houston, but we install them when a client asks.

Why Houston Weather Changes How We Build

High humidity and frequent thunderstorms do more damage here than most roofing guides admit. Water rarely comes straight down; it seeps and wicks sideways through the smallest gap.

Hurricane-force winds off the Gulf test every fastener and edge. We add fasteners along the perimeter, seal the verge and gable ends, and anchor the canopy and awning framing after a named storm.
